REFLECTION 3

Machu Picchu and Chichen Itza

The differences of both that place is Inca Empire ( Machu Picchu) was ruled by a succession of king.Machu Picchu located in the hill or mountain and far away from the city or town.Machu Picchu was an estate of the Inca emperor Pachacuti.Machu Picchu was selected because of its position relative to sacred landscape features such as its mountains, which are purported to be in alignment with key astronomical events important to the Incas.Machu Picchu is situated above a loop of the Urubamba River, which surrounds the site on three sides, with cliffs dropping vertically for 450 metres (1,480 ft) to the river at their base. The ruins of Machu Picchu are divided into two main sections known as the Urban and Agricultural Sectors, divided by a wall.
Chichen Itza is a large pre-Columbian archaeological site built by the Maya civilization located in the northern center of the Yucatan Peninsula, in the Municipality of Tinum, Yucatan state, present-day Mexico.Chichen Itza could have provided plentiful water and making it attractive for settlement. Also have Sacred Well or Well of Sacrifice is the famous as a form of worship to the Maya rain god.Chichen Itza situated near the city or town. The current belief trend in Maya scholarship is toward the more traditional model of the Maya kingdoms of the Classic southern lowlands.
The similarities of both of the that is is religious place,as an economic and political centre.Besides, arid and the rivers in the interior all run underground. For instance, both of this place also made up of from a strong stones. As well as,these place also coronation of kings.
Compared of this two place,my favourite is Machu Picchu, because if the buildings is attractive. This creation is differ from the Chichen Itza. The view from the hill or mountain is wonderful. The surroundings is so pleasent.
